Spectator Safety Management Programme
A brand new three day course run around the UK, covering all aspects of safety management, from the roles and responsibilities of Safety Officers to the managing of a major incident in your ground.
This course can be attended by anyone thinking about the role of safety officer, as a refresher for qualified safety officers or anyone working in spectator safety management, either at a sports ground or running events.
Learning Outcomes
- To understand the roles and responsibilities of Safety Officers and the history of events in the UK
- To be in line with current legislation and best practice
- To be able to identify the risks to events and plan for contingencies
- To be able to complete an Operation Plan for the venue
- To be able to plan cost effectively for events
- An opportunity to review and update your event and matchday documents
Duration
This 3 day course is delivered in one block with a certificate of Completion at the end.
